About Soutron Global

Soutron Global is an internationally recognized provider of cloud-based, scalable information management systems for corporate archives, libraries, information/knowledge hubs, and museums. Since 1989, we have been the longest-serving supplier of library and information management software in the UK market, with an expanding presence in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Our mission is to help organizations transform how they manage, access, and preserve their most valuable information assets. As we continue our global expansion, we are seeking an Implementations Manager who is first and foremost a builder—a high-functioning, roll-up-the-sleeves player-coach with the urgency and energy to raise the performance bar of our delivery function and our customer outcomes.

Role Overview

The Implementations Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of Soutron customer implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a player-coach, builder role: the leader will personally own delivery on the most strategic and complex projects while building the playbooks, SOPs, and team that scale our implementation function.

We are looking for a high-functioning operator who brings urgency and kinetic energy to the group—someone who designs the system rather than just running it, elevates the performance of everyone around them, and is comfortable in the details one moment and architecting the function the next. This individual will serve as both a technical leader (solution architect, system configuration) and a program leader (project management, team coordination), bridging customer requirements with Soutron’s platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Build & Scale the Function

  • Build, don’t just operate: design playbooks, SOPs, and delivery frameworks from first principles and iterate to scale.

  • Operate as a player-coach—personally own the most strategic and complex customer implementations while building and leading the broader team.

  • Raise the performance bar: bring urgency, energy, and a bias for action; recruit and develop a team of high-functioning A-players.

Implementation Leadership

  • Own the full lifecycle of customer implementations—from scoping and solution design to deployment, testing, and handover.

  • Translate business requirements into technical architecture, mapping customer metadata schemas, collection management workflows, and integration needs onto Soutron’s platform.

  • Act as the primary point of escalation for complex project challenges across global customers.

Solution Architecture

  • Design and validate enterprise-grade information management, library automation, and archive management architectures.

  • Define metadata models, data migration strategies, and integration patterns aligned with modern SaaS and (where relevant) industry best practices.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align customer implementations with platform roadmap.

Project & Program Management

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for multiple customer projects.

  • Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies; provide proactive updates to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure projects meet defined success criteria, including customer satisfaction and measurable business outcomes.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team of Implementation Consultants and Technical Specialists; hire, develop, and retain high-performing talent.

  • Drive adoption of standard operating procedures, playbooks, and implementation frameworks.

  • Foster a culture of urgency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise SaaS / software implementations end-to-end (scoping → design → deployment → go-live).

  • 3+ years of experience managing implementation teams or professional services organizations; player-coach experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong fluency in APIs, data migration, cloud platforms, integrations, and modern SaaS architectures.

  • Demonstrable track record of building playbooks, SOPs, and delivery frameworks from first principles—not just operating inherited ones.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and executive audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience implementing library management systems (ILS), archive management software, or information management platforms.

  • Familiarity with metadata standards and cataloging practices (MARC, Dublin Core, ISAD(G), RDA) and related compliance frameworks.

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification.

We would love to meet candidates with deep library / information management domain experience, but we are intentionally open to builders from adjacent enterprise SaaS domains. We will invest in training the right builder on domain specifics.

Builder / Operator Profile

  • High-functioning with a demonstrable bias for action; brings urgency and kinetic energy to the team.

  • Player-coach who has built teams, playbooks, and operating systems from early-stage to scale.

  • Raises the performance bar: hires, develops, and retains A-players; intolerant of mediocrity in themselves or others.

  • Comfortable zooming from architecture to execution—designs the system and can also run the play.

Why Join Soutron Global?

  • Be part of a company with 35+ years of industry leadership in library and information management software.

  • Lead mission-critical implementations with prestigious organizations including law firms, corporations, government agencies, and cultural institutions.

  • Build (not just run) the frameworks, playbooks, and methodologies that will define the next phase of our global growth.

  • Work alongside an exceptional leadership team backed by experienced private equity partners committed to scaling the business globally.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
