Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Drive Growth & Innovation 

Role Summary

As an Inbound SDR at our portfolio company, you will be the first point of contact for prospects who engage with our digital marketing campaigns, website, and product content. Your goal is to qualify inbound leads, book discovery meetings, and build trust with data, IT, and compliance leaders exploring CDP and data governance solutions.

 Responsibilities

  • Respond to and qualify inbound leads through email, phone, and chat
  • Conduct discovery calls to identify prospect needs, fit, and intent
  • Book meetings for Account Executives with qualified buyers
  • Maintain accurate activity and lead data in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead scoring and campaign optimization
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and customer pain points
  • Continuously improve talk tracks, objection handling, and follow-up strategies

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Active listener who can uncover pain points and business drivers
  • Curious, coachable, and hungry to learn enterprise SaaS sales
  • Comfortable managing multiple conversations and priorities
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools
  • A proactive mindset with high accountability and attention to detail

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles (internships welcome)
  • SaaS or B2B experience preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
