The Company:
The Company is a PE-backed software company developing data management, integration, governance, and quality solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers. The company is based in France with a presence in Belgium and Poland. We are looking for a Sales leader to help accelerate our next phase of growth in North America and Europe through direct and channel sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be based in the United States or Canada and be passionate about driving profitable growth for our business.

10-15 years of progressive experience as a revenue leader in SaaS
Experience in data management, governance, or analytics software space
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
Ability to operate in a “player / coach” role
Private Equity backed Portfolio Company Experience; Exit experience preferred
Experience managing a global team / organization
“Build” / transformation experience
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire sales teams to excel
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
The Job:
As the VP of Sales, you will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for developing and executing revenue strategies that will propel the company to new heights. You will lead and manage all aspects of Sales to optimize revenue growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximize lifetime value. This role will work closely with our dedicated in-house and outsourced marketing function. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned revenue leader with a proven track record in the SaaS industry, possess strong leadership and strategic skills, and be passionate about driving results in the data management software space.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive revenue strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives, market trends, and customer needs.
Drive the creation and execution of sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Create and roll out a compelling sales compensation plan that aligns ideal outcomes for the company and incentivizes the right behaviors to ensure company success.
Sales Leadership:
Lead and mentor the sales team, providing strategic direction and support to achieve sales quotas and drive high-performance results.
Hire bar-raising team members to outperform budget
Foster a sales culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Marketing and Branding:
Partner with the marketing team to develop effective go-to-market strategies, demand generation campaigns and brand positioning.
Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and drive lead generation.
Customer Success and Retention:
Oversee the customer success function, ensuring high customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion of existing accounts.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Strategic Partnerships:
Identify strategic partnerships and alliances that can enhance the company's sales efforts and market reach (channel partners, systems integrators, etc.)
Foster strong relationships with key partners to drive mutual business growth.
Data Analytics and Performance Management:
Leverage data and analytics to drive revenue optimization and inform decision-making across all revenue-related functions.
Implement performance metrics, reporting, and dashboards to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
Market Insights and Competitor Analysis:
Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform revenue strategies.
Use market insights to position the company as an industry leader.
