Senior Manager/Supervisor

Role 

As a member of the Finance team, the Accounting Manager / Finance Manager will be a part of a nimble, PE backed company, in which team members act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team. Finance plays a critical, highly valued role by providing data-driven insights to operationalize initiatives and execute financial performance. 

The ideal candidate for this position has a well-rounded finance and accounting background and possesses strong analytical and communication skills. This position will provide support for reporting, planning, strategic analytics, and treasury operations.  The candidate should be a self-starter, team-oriented, inquisitive and focused on driving results. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead monthly reporting and forecasting analysis of revenue and margin including research, explanation and resolution of monthly variances.  Ensure accuracy and transparency of results. 

  • Create ad-hoc financial and valuation models to support new product development, business performance, and cost management. 

  • Support the CEO and Bloom team in the analysis and the preparation of monthly financial reporting, operational reviews and board presentations. 

  • Drive disciplined cost management and expense planning processes in concert with functional business leader.  Leverage ROI models to prioritize resources and govern decision making.  

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. 

  • Assist with the administration of compensation and benefits  

  • Assist with the maintenance of HR records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality. 

  • Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in improving its competitive position and profitability.  

  • Develop comprehensive business cases for proposed investments and participate in presentation to executive leadership team and Board of Directors, when appropriate. 

  • Develop, maintain, and improve complex financial models, benchmarking, and process analysis. 

  • Support M&A activities including deal modeling, due diligence and integration processes.  

Desired Skills and Experience 

  • English speaking required  

  • Work onsite with the French team  

  • Expert knowledge of French tax and accounting practices 

  • 5-8 years related experience in FP&A. Undergraduate degree required. 

  • Detail oriented and able to work in a face paced environment. 

  • Willingness to accept new challenges, and a high level of curiosity and creativity as it relates to new projects, and finding solutions to problems. 

  • Effective communication and cross functional business partnering. Ability to present to all levels of the organization including senior leadership. 

  • Financial modeling and analysis skills, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. 

  • Proven experience and knowledge of accounting concepts and financial statement construction.
