RightCrowd is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company in the Physical Identity and Access Management (PIAM) industry, focused on providing innovative solutions to enhance security and streamline access control processes for a diverse range of clients. As we continue to grow and establish our presence in the market, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be based in the United States or Canada and be passionate about driving the financial reporting and success of the organization. 

Position Summary 

RightCrowd Software is looking for a Staff Accountant as a key part of the Finance & Accounting team.  The Staff Accountant will assist in the preparation of financial reports, perform account reconciliations be involved in the month-end close process, of RightCrowd Software.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with month end close 
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries 
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and expense accounts 
  • Recording and reporting of accruals and prepaids 
  • Assist with annual audit schedules 
  • Assist with AR/AP
  • Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance 
  • Ensure all transactions comply with company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures 
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve the efficiency of various processes 
  • Assisting with other ad hoc projects in accounting and finance 
  • Other related duties as assigned 

The successful applicant will possess the following education, skills, and qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organization and problem-solving skills 
  • Possesses a collaborative, professional attitude with a strong work ethic 
  • Inherently self-motivated, works with a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision to complete daily tasks accurately and on time 
  • Desire to go outside comfort zone by assisting with projects and taking on additional responsibilities 
  • Experience with streamlining processes and creating efficiencies, a plus 
  • Proficient in Excel, including but not limited to pivot tables, vlookups, and advanced formulas 
  • Experience with NetSuite and PowerBI a plus 
  • Experience with ERP integrations a plus
